Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Outstanding service and food! All of our Whataburgers in the Tampa area closed down a few years ago, so this was a delightful little treat nestled away in the quaint town of Ocean Springs, MS. We arrived at 11:03 AM, placed a breakfast order and were told that breakfast ended at 11 AM. The cashier then paused and said, "But lemme see if they will still make it." When she returned, our breakfast order was permitted, much to our delight. We ordered a chicken biscuit combo, which is a fried piece of chicken stuffed into a fresh biscuit and topped with some sort of magical honey sauce. It's BANANAS! We also ordered a #1, Whataburger combo meal. Also, very good and just how I remembered it tasting. Everything was hot, fresh and made to order. Next time I'm in O.S., I'll be sure to come in and spend my hard-earned cashola!

My coworker and one of the hospital officers arrived at the restaurant and when they walked in the cook said 'oh not you guys again'. My coworker then said 'you know we always have big orders' and the cook turned and walked away. So when we got our orders back to the hospital I got my burger but it didn't have cheese on it. I tried to find cheese around here with no luck lol and I was mad because it was almost $7 and well I really don't like a hamburger without cheese. I called and talked to Joanne. She argued and said we didn't ask for cheese. When I told her that we did in fact ask for it, she said no we were wrong. So I asked her if she would make it over if I brought it to her and her response- ' if you would like to come back and pay me the extra 50 cents she would be happy to give me a piece of cheese. I asked her if she was kidding and she replied ' we are trying to run a business here. Then she signed and said fine, come back and I will make it over. I kindly stated that she could run her business however she wanted but that she would do it without our business ever again. We had 7 orders and it is a regular place for the hospital employees to frequent at we work the emergency room night shift. What a sad excuse for customer service. 7 orders and she wants to argue over a piece of cheese. The people I work with are all dying laughing at the come pick up a piece of cheese for 50 cents answer I got from this Joanne. Well Joanne, you can let your cook know we won't be back to 'bother' him with our large orders anymore.

Ok. So I was hungry for a burger @ 9:15 in the morning. Only place open? Whataburger. Not wanting to ever eat her again I decided to say WTF & go for it. Well, it's was good. Fresh lightly salted fries, Ice cold root beer , & the jalapeño cheese burger was hot & tasty. You are back on my radar whataburger. For now.

They provide quick personal service, the food is hot and tasty. My order was correct and they had Coke Zero. This is a good change of pace from the McD's and Burger King food.

That's right- I just rated a Whataburger five stars. Got beef? You would have if you had stopped here. Huge juicy patties, great service. I was just visiting these parts, so when I left my number tent at the register and hopped off to create a mixture of drinks at the fountain they had to hunt me down to feed me. The fountain soda pop was so crisp and refreshing, like movie theater soda. The eating area was impeccable. I got a chicken biscuit with honey something or other on it that was to die for, and sized perfectly for breakfast. The service was great. I really wish I had one near me at all times.

Destroys the local fast food competition. The Ocean Springs location is doing it right. Great fast service with a clean dining area and restroom. They come back to your table to see if you need anything. You won't find many fast food places that go the extra mile like they do here!

Can I get a what what? Whataburger is the popular franchise distinct throughout the southern states from Texas, through Louisiana, Mississippi and probably beyond. Kinda like we have In and Out on the west coast... This is the Whataburger I frequented most. The sliders here are pretty good, with your common fast food prices... closest comparison I can think of (which may not be the best comparison) is a good whopper... Before the days I watched my diet, I would go for the Triple Meat Triple Cheese... still makes my mouth water thinking about it! Hey if you can do a 4x4 at In n Out, then you can do this: blogs.houstonpress.com/e… BLADAMN!!!

More like 3.5 stars. No Whataburger's in my hometown. Heard good things about this chain. Ordered the Jalapeño & Cheese burger. Pretty damn tasty! Service fast friendly and food hot! I'll take these burgers over McDonald or Burger King any time any day. Also has a breakfast menu and is open 24/7.

It simply doesn't get any better than Whataburger for food on the go. Even their employees are a cut above. To kick your food up a notch check the add on's list for grilled onions/peppers, cheese, bacon, avacado, or jalapeno's. Best recommendation for Whataburger of Ocean Springs.

Ok, so I do not like to go to fast food places. But this Whataburger is awesome. The burgers may take a little longer but they are fresh and very tasty. The French fries are always hot and perfect. And they have milk shakes and malts!! My kids love the chocolate malts! The staff is nice and friendly and the restaurant is clean.
